FAQ

Honest answers about dirt pad prep.

Have a question that isn't here? Call (662) 996-8245, we answer the phone.

How thick should a house pad be?

Typical residential pads are 18–24 inches of compacted select fill above stripped subgrade, but your structural engineer's plans always govern. We'll match the spec exactly.

How long does a pad take?

Most residential pads run 2–4 working days depending on cut/fill volume, haul distance, and weather. We give you a real schedule before we start.

Do you handle erosion control on the pad?

Yes. We install silt fence, hay wattles, and stabilized construction entrances as part of the pad if your county permit requires them.
